We are so glad to welcome you! We hope you will find something here that becomes a warm tradition in your family. Collecting senses together

Privacy Policy

This Policy explains what personal data the SENSE website collects, why it is needed, who it is shared with and what you can do about it. The Policy has been drawn up in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and, for buyers in the European Union, with regard to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We ask for exactly as much data as we need to put your order together and get it to you. We collect nothing beyond that and we sell nothing to anyone.

1. Who processes your data

1.1. The controller of your personal data is Violeta Volodymyrivna Razinkina, private entrepreneur.

1.2. Postal address: 14 Ruslana Luzhevskoho Lane, Kyiv, Ukraine.

1.3. For any questions about your data you can get in touch by email hello@sensebaby.com or by phone +38 (095) 259-21-21.

1.4. We do not have a separate data protection officer: the volume of processing is small and the law does not require one. All enquiries are handled by the shop’s owner personally.

2. What data we collect

2.1. Data you enter yourself. When you place an order — your first name and surname, phone number, email, country, city and post office branch or delivery address. If someone else is receiving the order — their first name, surname and phone number as you gave them. When you contact us through a form — your name, phone number and the text of your message.

2.2. Order data. What is in the order, the amount and currency, the payment and delivery method, the preferred delivery date, the card message if you wrote one, and any comments on the order.

2.3. Technical data. Your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you viewed, how you arrived at the site, and the language and currency you chose. This data is collected automatically.

2.4. We do not collect and do not ask for data about health, religious or political views, or other sensitive categories of data. If you write something of that kind in a card message or a comment, it reaches us only because you wrote it yourself.

2.5. We do not store your bank card details. Payment takes place by the payment provider, and card details never reach the website at all.

2.6. We do not make decisions about you automatically, without human involvement, and we do not build advertising profiles.

3. Why we need this data

3.1. To process and deliver your order: to get in touch and confirm it, to pack the parcel, to issue the consignment note and to tell you about the status.

3.2. To meet the requirements of the law — in particular on accounting, taxation and consumer rights protection.

3.3. To reply to your enquiry if you wrote to us through the form or a messenger.

3.4. To understand how the website is used and make it more convenient. Anonymised technical data is used for this.

3.5. To show prices in your currency and the page in your language — for this the website remembers your choice and determines your country from your IP address.

3.6. We do not send marketing newsletters without your separate consent.

4. The grounds on which we do this

4.1. Performance of the contract with you. On this ground we process the data without which an order cannot be put together and delivered: name, phone number, address, contents of the order.

4.2. Compliance with a legal obligation. On this ground we keep the documents on sales and returns.

4.3. Our legitimate interest. On this ground we protect the site from abuse and keep anonymised visit statistics. We weigh this interest against your rights and do not rely on it where consent is required.

4.4. Your consent. On this ground we process data for newsletters and non-essential cookies. Consent can be withdrawn at any time — this does not make unlawful the processing that took place before the withdrawal.

5. Who we share data with

5.1. Delivery services — the recipient’s first name, surname, phone number and address, without which the parcel cannot be sent. Within Ukraine this is Nova Poshta; abroad it is the carrier chosen for that destination.

5.2. The payment provider — the amount, currency and order number needed to take the payment. Card payments on the site are processed by monobank.

5.3. The order management system — the order details and the buyer’s contacts. We manage orders in KeyCRM.

5.4. The hosting provider, on whose servers the website runs and its database is stored.

5.5. Government authorities — only in the cases and to the extent expressly provided for by law.

5.6. Each of them receives only what is needed for their work and has no right to use your data for their own purposes.

5.7. We do not sell your data and do not pass it to third parties for advertising.

6. Transfers of data abroad

6.1. The website, its database and the order management system are located in Ukraine.

6.2. If you order delivery abroad, the Recipient’s details are passed to the carrier in that country — otherwise the parcel cannot be handed over. Such a transfer is limited to the data needed for delivery.

6.3. Ukraine does not have a European Commission adequacy decision on the level of data protection. If you are in the European Union, your data is processed in Ukraine on the basis that this is necessary for the performance of the contract you entered into with us — Article 49(1)(b) GDPR. We do not pass this data on to anyone other than the recipients listed in Section 5.

7. How long data is kept

7.1. Order data is kept for as long as is needed to fulfil the order, to deal with any claims and to comply with accounting law, but no longer than 5 years from the date of the last order.

7.2. Enquiries made through contact forms are kept for up to one year.

7.3. Technical data about visits is kept for up to 12 months.

7.4. Once these periods end, the data is deleted or anonymised.

8. Cookies

8.1. The website uses cookies — small files that your browser stores on your device.

8.2. Some of them are essential: without them the basket does not work, the chosen language and currency are not remembered, and an order cannot be placed. These files do not require consent, because the website does not work without them.

8.3. The rest are for analytics — to see which pages are useful to visitors. These files are set only with your consent.

8.4. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but then the basket and the language switchers will not work.

9. Your rights

9.1. You have the right to find out exactly what data of yours we hold and to receive a copy of it.

9.2. You have the right to have inaccurate data corrected.

9.3. You have the right to request the deletion of your data — except for data we are required by law to keep.

9.4. You have the right to request restriction of processing while we check your objection.

9.5. You have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest.

9.6. You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your data.

9.7. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights and, if you are in the European Union, with the supervisory authority of your country.

9.8. To exercise any of these rights, write to us at hello@sensebaby.com. We reply within 30 calendar days and do not charge for it.

10. Rights of buyers in the European Union

10.1. SENSE ships orders abroad and shows prices in euros, so the GDPR applies to buyers who are in the European Union.

10.2. In addition to the rights in Section 9, you have the right to data portability: to receive the data you gave us in a structured, machine-readable format, or to ask us to pass it to another controller where this is technically feasible.

10.3. We will notify you of a data breach without undue delay if it presents a high risk to your rights.

11. How we protect data

11.1. The website runs over a secure connection: the data you enter is transmitted in encrypted form.

11.2. Access to orders is limited to those who need it for their work, and every access is personal to a named individual.

11.3. The website’s data is backed up daily, and the copies are kept for a limited time.

11.4. No system offers a hundred per cent guarantee, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

12. Children

12.1. The website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their data, write to us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this Policy

13.1. We may update this Policy. The current version is always available on this page.

13.2. If the changes are significant, we will announce them on the website before they take effect.
